Phillips Corporation's US Federal Government Division is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to own the success of all of our product lines. We have been supplying manufacturing technology to the US Federal government since 1948. This strategic Business Development Manager will be responsible for providing business development and driving sales with existing and new clients, as well as develop strategic planning activities for the DoD sales lifecycle to identify and position opportunities based on Phillips Corporationís capabilities and solutions.

The successful candidate will have the following profile:

  • Conduct strategic planning activities across existing & prospective DoD client base.
  • Engages the client at a business requirements level to gain an understanding of the business issues and objectives driving the client's needs
  • 5+ years of sales / business development experience and a track record of identifying and closing opportunities delivering Additive Manufacturing solutions and services.
  • Must possess current relationships within the DoD community. Direct US Armed Forces experience required.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to sell manufacturing products and services directly to the Pentagon, as well as DoD contractors.
  • Develop contacts with existing customers and execute a plan to develop new customers.
  • Identifies the need for, and engages the appropriate internal, vendor or partner personnel to assist with the requirements gathering for federal opportunities.
  • Maintain strong vendor partnerships related to the products and manufacturing services delivered against federal client opportunities.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting DoD contracting, BPAs, GWACs, IDIQs, etc.

Based on the nature of our customerís facilities, you must be a U.S. citizen and successfully pass a full background check. You must also have a current, valid driverís license and good driving record.
