Phillips Corporation's US Federal Government Division is looking for an outstanding Applications Engineer to join our team that provides support to the military and Federal government agencies. We have been supplying manufacturing technology to the US Federal government since 1948. You will conduct EOS operator and programming training; create highly engaging demonstrations; provide guidance and technical support to our sales team and customers on additive manufacturing machine selection for projects; sell, manage, and complete applications projects; complete accurate time studies for customer components; use CAM software to produce programs for customer components; provide programming support to customers, and troubleshoot customer application issues.

Based on the nature of our customerís facilities, you must be a U.S. citizen and successfully pass a full background check. You must also have a current, valid driverís license and good driving record.

The person we seek for this position must:

  • Live near a major airport, and be able to travel 70-90% to various customers around the U.S.
  • Be comfortable speaking in front of groups, such as teaching and training.
  • Have solid experience in either SLS or direct metal printing.
  • Have strong knowledge of solid modeling.
  • Be able to design parts to specifications.
  • Be able to produce written customer instructions.
  • Have excellent communication skills and be customer service minded.
